Solid ‘Africa, a top Rwandan social enterprise since 2010, is looking for people to join its nutrition, catering, and community programs. They’re known for working to fight hunger and make sure everyone has access to healthy, affordable food.
Through their Gemura Feeding
Program, one of Rwanda’s biggest nutrition programs in hospitals, Solid’Africa
gives good meals to patients and kids. They also do farming programs, teach
about nutrition, and run a Community Benefit Company (CBC) to make money for
their cause. Plus, their Institute of Culinary Arts & Nutrition (ICAN)
trains future chefs and nutritionists!

1. Sous Chef (3)
What You'll Do:
Help run big kitchen teams, make sure the food is good,
safe, and made fast.
What You’ll Handle:

Help the Kitchen Manager make lots of food.
- Organize the kitchen.
- Watch over cooks, the pastry team, and kitchen helpers.
- Follow all the safety rules.
- Check food safety and cleanliness.
- Assign jobs, train people, and supervise every day.
What You Need
- A diploma in cooking or something similar.
- 3–5 years of experience in large-scale catering.
- Good leadership skills.
- Know batch cooking and kitchen equipment.

HACCP training is a plus.
