Established in 2003, UFC Plc was initially a cooperative savings and credit institution that was Rwanda's first. Its primary mission was to drive financial inclusion by offering accessible financial services to cooperatives and the unbanked communities. In 2006, the institution changed its form to a cooperative union and hence deepened its operational capacity and extended its reach. A significant milestone was achieved in 2013 when UFC became a public limited company owned by shareholders and a licensed microfinance institution officially offering a full range of financial services.

After that, Umutanguha Finance Company Plc has been depicting a continuous progression through the wise extension and strengthening of its position. The company was able to acquire and merge with two microfinance cooperatives in 2016 and 2018 respectively, thus consolidating its goal of becoming one of Rwanda's top microfinance institutions. These mergers were the stepping stones of UFC's long-term dream of establishing a solid, eco-friendly, and competitive financial institution that could contribute to the economic development both at the individual and enterprise levels.

Now, UFC Plc has 21 branches in every province of Rwanda. Job Overview

UFC Plc is in need of an experienced Digital Transformation and Innovation Manager who will have the responsibility to lead the digital strategy of the organization and be the driving force behind technological innovation. The position is crucial in keeping the NFL competitive in a rapidly digital environment such as financial services.

The newly appointed manager will take the lead in scouting, conceptualizing, and actualization digital operations that will not only yield efficiciency in the operations but also enhance customer experience and validate business growth.
